Guidance for formatting papers and citations in using the "Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association" (APA).

Basic Pattern

Film or video

Director Last Name, First Initial. Second Initial. (Director). (Year). Title of movie [Film]. Production Company; Production Company, etc. (all of them). URL (if needed)

TV series

Executive Producer Last Name, First Initial. Second Initial. (Executive Producer). (Year or Years separated with en dash). Title of show [TV series]. Production Company; Production Company, etc. (all of them). URL (if needed)

TV show episode

Episode Writer Last name, First Initial. Second Initial. (Writer) & Episode Director Last name, First Initial. Second Initial. (Director). (Episode Airdate Year, Month Day). Episode title (Season number, Episode number) [TV series episode]. In Executive Producer First Initial. Second Initial. Last name (Executive Producer), Title of show. Production Company; Production Company.

YouTube video or other streaming video

Author Last name, First Initial. Second Initial. OR Author screen name. (Year, Month Day {of video post}). Title of video [Video]. Title of website. URL of specific video
