  • Use “quotation marks” to find exact phrases
    • "rock art"
    • “African diaspora”
    • “invertible matrix”
  • Use proximity searching* to find words near each other
    • women NEAR violence
    • progressive NEAR/10 tax
    • "global warming" NEAR/20 "sea level"
