Science Fiction or Fantasy? Tolkien or Asimov, Legolas or Spock, Game of Thrones or Ender's Game?
Black Science by Rick Remender
This Sci-Fi adventure epic follows a team of scientists as they are flung between different parallel dimensions as they try to get home .What at first seems like an experiment gone wrong soon seems to look like something far more sinister. Highly recommend this graphic novel for readers that love character-driven weird fiction sci-fi. Or just anyone that loves a good story.
Neil Gaiman is often considered one of the greatest graphic novel authors of all time, and this adaptation by P. Craig Russell is proof of that. A number of different artists contributed to this story and that diversity of styles really makes this work unique and striking to look at. This story explores the protagonists as they find a doorway to another world in a graveyard and the adventures that follow that discovery. This fantasy story has bits of occult inspiration as well as many traditional fantasy elements that any reader should be able to sink their teeth into.
