This guide is a listing of the anatomical models available at the Cullom-Davis Library.
Many of the models are from 3B Scientific. You can access 3B Scienentic Brand Manuals Online.
If you use the 3B Scientific app, follow these instructions to unlock the content for the models.
Descriptions of the models are modified from the vendor's description.
All of the anatomy models are a part of the library’s reserves collection. This means the items do not have the same checkout rules as the regular library collection items. By default, the anatomy models are available to be checked out for 4 hours of in-library use. If there is a second copy of an item, the second copy can be checked out for 3 days.
The anatomy models are physically located in two different places in the library. The main shelving for the anatomy models is on the shelving directly behind the research help desk on the main floor. Each item is stored in a container. Each shelf in this area holds one item and a sign indicating which item it is and how to check it out.
Take the container to the check out desk on the main floor to use the item. You will need to show your Bradley ID as your library card to check out the item. When you are done using the model, ensure that you have all the pieces in the container and return it to the check out desk.
Some items are too large for the shelving behind the research help desk, for these items, they are located in the Reserves area of the library located next to the IT Help desk on the main floor. There are signs on the shelves behind the research help desk for the items that are stored in the Reserves area to help you remember where to go.
All the anatomy models owned by the library are listed in this guide. As new models arrive, they will be added to the guide.
