Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) is an epidemic and a movement in the United States and in other settler colonial societies. More inclusive iterations include Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls and Two-Spirit Peoples (MMIWG2S) and Missing and Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP).
