A database that covers many different topics and includes articles and more from thousands of publications. A good starting place for most topics.

JSTOR contains articles covering all of the humanities, including art. art history, anthropology, history, psychology, and other fields of study that might deal with color. Full text is included for every article. It's very different from other databases, so take your time with it and ask your librarian questions if you need to.

Google Scholar searches many, many different journals for academic or scholarly writing about your topic. It is very easy to use, but it is not always able to provide full text. You can set it up to find full text in the library databases using the instruction below.
