Subject Headings are another tool you can use to find books on educational topics. Subject headings are like tags that are applied to books in that catalog that describe what the book is about. Using subject headings in your search can help you find more relevant results than simple keyword searching.
To search for books with a specific subject heading, go to Advanced Search in the catalog and choose Subject from the drop-down menu that defaults to "Any Field."
Here are some example subject headings that relate to education. Each one links to a set of search results for resources that have that subject heading. These aren't the only subject headings or resources about education - these are just a few examples.
Most streaming videos that we own can be found by searching in the catalog. However, if you know you are primarily interested in finding video, you can search inside specific video collections.
